NEWS: Found x Mind Charity Partnership
This summer Found Series has partnered up with mental health charity Mind in Haringey, and other local Minds across London, to raise both awareness of Mental health issues and vital funds for the charity.
We have already raised over £7,500 at Rinse | Born & Bred and Found Festival, and with your help we can raise even more at 51st State and Moondance Festival.
There will be a designated area at each of our festivals for in which Mind will host activities and workshops for people to participate in. Activities will include Laughter Yoga, relaxation techniques alongside professional councillors who can provide confidential advice and support to the festival attendees.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information as we get ready to launch a raffle competition. Prizes will include season passes from our brand partners, artist and label merchandise, vinyls, exclusive t-shirts and meet and greets with artists.
You can also donate here. Some of our volunteers share their experiences here…
“Volunteering for Mind has been such an amazing experience. The festival atmosphere was fantastic and the festival goers received us well. The partnership of Mind and Found brought great music, good vibes, whilst raising awareness of mental health.” – Nina
“Their experience fundraising at the festivals – Just amazing! The festival goers were open, honest and happy to talk and really very generous in their support and even if they didn’t have money for a donation they offered their bar tokens!” – Deborah
“Fundraising at Mind during the festival season has been such a positive & powerful experience. We’ve created so many different bonds with different members of the public who have donated. Seeing people being so understanding and open towards mental illness and even willing to share their own stories makes us see how well we are doing our job. Being able to provide an connection with individuals and just talk to them about Mind has created such a great platform for Mind with festival-goers. While everyone may not have the money to donate, talking to those who show an interest regardless helps spread awareness.” – Mercedez
“It has been an amazing experience working with Mind at the music festivals. The music and the vibe of the festival relaxes people and enables them to open up about their experiences with mental health. Whilst face painting I have spoken to many festival goers that have mentioned how much they love the Mind charity for either helping themselves or family/friends.” – Sharlene
